Intense confrontations erupted between Palestinian resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, with clashes concentrated in Tulkarm and Jenin. Palestinian groups, including the al-Quds Brigades and the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, reported direct engagements with Israeli troops on multiple fronts, resulting in heavy gunfire exchanges, the downing of an Israeli drone, and direct hits on Israeli personnel and vehicles.
The al-Quds Brigades – Tulkarm reported that resistance fighters confronted Israeli forces entering Tulkarm city and its Nur Shams and Tulkarm refugee camps, successfully forcing the troops to withdraw after sustained confrontations. The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades confirmed targeting an Israeli military jeep in Nur Shams camp with gunfire and grenades during the incursion, leading to casualties among Israeli ranks.
Israeli occupation forces launched a second raid within 24 hours in Tulkarm, backed by military bulldozers, sparking further clashes as resistance fighters attempted to repel the advancing forces. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that one Palestinian was killed and five others injured, including a woman, as Israeli forces prevented medical teams from accessing parts of the camp to transport the wounded to hospitals.

Meanwhile, in Jenin, the al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Battalion displayed footage of a downed Israeli drone seized during confrontations in the city. The area of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, saw intense fighting, with resistance fighters targeting Israeli forces with automatic weapons and explosive devices. Fighters from the al-Quds Brigades detonated multiple explosive devices, disabling an Israeli armored personnel carrier and injuring soldiers inside in the Salah al-Din area.
As confrontations continue, the clashes in both Tulkarm and Jenin have highlighted the fierce ongoing resistance and significant strain in the West Bank amid a surge of Israeli military operations.
