IRGC Commander: Resistance Front Confronting Enemies with Limited Force
Tehran, Iran – Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), declared on Friday that while the Resistance Front is deploying only a fraction of its power, it is successfully confronting enemies using all their resources.
Speaking at a regional gathering, Salami emphasized the proximity of Resistance forces to their adversaries, engaging them "at point-blank range." He also highlighted the political and military strategies employed by the Resistance, which have reshaped the regional power dynamics.
"The enemy seeks to invert truth and falsehood, trying to obscure what is clear," Salami warned, referencing the political alignments formed to counter the rise of resistance movements.
Hezbollah and Southern Lebanon
Salami pointed to Hezbollah's successes in Lebanon, asserting that the group has not only rebuilt itself but also demonstrated battlefield dominance. Despite extensive Israeli bombardments on Lebanese cities, Hezbollah fighters have held their positions, preventing significant Israeli advances in southern Lebanon.

Criticism of U.S. and Israel
The IRGC commander criticized the United States' role in the region, stating that its political image has suffered globally since the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. He compared the U.S.’ two main political parties, Democrats and Republicans, to "Coca-Cola and Pepsi," arguing their policies are fundamentally similar despite minor differences.
Salami suggested that Resistance movements, particularly in Gaza, have indirectly influenced U.S. domestic politics, noting a decline in public support for pro-Israel policies. "The American people did not vote for the supporters of the Zionist killing machine," he remarked.
Israel’s Vulnerability
Salami also highlighted Israel's economic reliance on maritime trade, stating, "98% of Israel's economy depends on the sea." Disrupting its ports or making the Mediterranean unsafe would be enough to severely damage Israel's economy, he suggested. He described the current state of Israel as one of "an exhausted army, depressed officials, and a collapsing economy."
Iran's Resilience
Concluding his remarks, Salami asserted Iran's strength, declaring it "invincible" against any global coalition. "Iran is great and undefeatable, even if the whole world were to unite against it," he affirmed.
The statements underscore the IRGC's view of the Resistance Front as a growing force reshaping the strategic balance in the region.
