In a conference in Tehran marking 40 days since the martyrdom of Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf praised Nasrallah's profound impact on the Resistance movement and his unwavering stance on Palestine as an Islamic cause. Ghalibaf emphasized Nasrallah’s legacy as a lasting deterrent, describing how the late leader’s words continue to instill fear within Israeli ranks.

“Sayyed Nasrallah brought fear to the enemy for decades, and his words remain a nightmare for the Zionists,” Ghalibaf stated. He attributed Hezbollah's resilience as a key factor in thwarting Israeli advances in South Lebanon and emphasized the group's pivotal role in combating ISIS. In a pointed remark, Ghalibaf suggested that Europe’s current security is partly owed to Hezbollah’s actions against ISIS, stating, “Europe must recognize its security owes much to Hezbollah’s role in defeating ISIS.”

"Hezbollah achieved extraordinary growth thanks to Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's courage, wisdom, and patience,” he said, adding that Hezbollah’s legacy had continuously forced Israeli retreats over the past four decades.
