A drone attack launched from Lebanon struck an Israeli military base in Binyamina, south of Haifa, killing three Israeli soldiers and wounding 67 others, according to Israeli media reports.
The drone was able to penetrate Israeli air defenses undetected and detonated without triggering any air raid sirens in the area. The strike hit the dining hall at a base belonging to the Golani Brigade.
Emergency services responded quickly, with 50 ambulances and helicopters arriving to transport the injured.
Israeli media reported that 50 ambulances were dispatched to the scene where a #Hezbollah drone, flying undetected, exploded in a military base south of Haifa, after sirens failed to sound.
