Sayyed Khamenei: US and Israel Behind Syrian Crisis, Resistance Will Strengthen Across Region
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has attributed the crisis in Syria to deliberate planning by the United States and the Israeli regime. Speaking on the broader dynamics of resistance in the region, he outlined the expansion of anti-imperial fronts and dismissed efforts to weaken the resistance as futile.
US and Israel as Primary Instigators
Sayyed Khamenei revealed that evidence points to the orchestration of Syria’s conflict from American and Israeli command centers. “What happened in Syria was planned in American and Israeli command rooms, and we have evidence of that, leaving no room for doubt,” he said.
He also noted the involvement of a neighboring country, which played a significant role in the destabilization efforts and continues to influence the situation in Syria.
The Growing Power of Resistance
Sayyed Khamenei emphasized the resilience and growing influence of the resistance movements in the region. Despite the pressures and crimes committed against them, he declared that resistance forces are expanding and strengthening. “Resistance becomes stronger when pressures and crimes are committed,” he stated.
Highlighting Hezbollah’s recent confrontation with Israel, Khamenei credited the group's decisive actions, following the martyrdom of a key leader, for compelling the Zionist regime to accept a ceasefire.
Iran's Solidarity with the Resistance Front
The Leader rejected claims that resistance movements' struggles would weaken Iran, affirming instead that the Islamic Republic remains “strong and solid” and will continue to grow stronger.
He also asserted that the U.S. would fail to achieve its objectives in the region, as the Resistance Front will ultimately expel American forces.
Support for Palestine and Condemnation of Zionist Crimes
Sayyed Khamenei highlighted the unwavering support of regional populations for Palestine, dismissing attempts to marginalize the cause. “Efforts to forget the cause after 75 years are futile,” he said.
He criticized Israel’s ongoing crimes in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon, asserting that such actions do not represent victory for the regime. Despite Israeli strikes, Hezbollah has demonstrated its resilience and ability to challenge the Israeli military, which has repeatedly failed to achieve its objectives.

Syria’s Future and Warnings to Leadership
Khamenei made it clear that the current situation in Syria, characterized by Israeli bombings and aggressions, is unsustainable. He disclosed that Iranian intelligence had previously warned Syrian officials about enemy plots, cautioning against trusting their deceptive overtures.
Conclusion: Resistance Will Prevail
Sayyed Khamenei concluded with a resolute message: the Resistance Front will continue to grow stronger, and efforts by the U.S. and its allies to undermine it will fail. He reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to standing alongside the peoples of the region in their fight for sovereignty and justice.
