Reports of Resistance Leader’s Assassination in Beirut Proven False

Rumors claiming the assassination of a senior Resistance leader during a recent attack on the Lebanese capital, Beirut, have been debunked, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent citing trusted sources.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority had reported that Israeli warplanes targeted and killed a high-ranking Hezbollah figure in the al-Basta area of Beirut. Additional Israeli media outlets alleged that Hezbollah leaders and others were the focus of the assault.

However, Member of Parliament Amin Sherry refuted these claims, confirming that no Hezbollah members were present in the building targeted by the airstrike. Sherry emphasized that this marks the eighth attack on Beirut, none of which, he stated, have struck military targets.
